Incase Pro Pack for GoPro Gear Review

Incase Pro Pack for GoPro Gear Review

Some people like waist packs, others shoulder bags. Me, I’m a backpack guy. When I got to choose a product from Incase to test, I knew immediately I’d go with the Pro Pack for GoPro. I first saw it at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market and coveted it ever since. Once you start playing around with a GoPro, it seems inevitable that lots of accessories will follow. This bag is the prefect solution for carrying all that gear around.

Design

This is a sleek looking bag, without a lot of extraneous straps, pockets, or other details that get in the way of moving your gear into the field and then getting at it for use. For carrying, the bag has straps with an integrated GoPro mount on the left strap, a sternum strap for stability, and a handle if you need to take it off you back. Straps on the side mean you can add a tripod or pair of trekking poles easily. Two exterior access pockets give you storage for small items and also a way into the main compartment without using the larger openings. The front also has soft rubber feet to keep the bag up slightly off the ground when flipped over to open it up. Hidden at the bottom is an included rainfly for inclement weather.

Overall, this is a well-designed pack that works for its intended purpose, getting you to the action with gear securely and safely stowed. Its narrow profile means you can squeeze into tight spaces without getting caught up.  Filled with camera gear, there’s enough extra room for clothes, snacks, and more, making it an ideal day bag, stretching it to an overnight or weekend bag if judiciously packed. The quality of the materials and durability of the build feel pretty bombproof, so it’s likely to carry you through many an adventure – just remember to get it on film!

This was pack was provided to me for review purposes – all opinions are my own.
