Gear Review: Tubbs Snowshoes Wayfinder

Tubbs Snowshoes’ mission is to encourage adventure, exercise, family fun, and connection to nature by providing high quality snowshoeing equipment, to get people outside and in the snow. They’ve been doing that since 1906 and have built the brand through quality products and grassroots action like the Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series and the Get Outdoors Program. Ambassadors like myself try out the shoes, get hooked, and want everyone to get outside with us.

Gear Review: Tubbs Snowshoes Wayfinder

The Tubbs Wayfinder men’s snowshoe is brand new to their Trail Walking collection, geared towards those of us who follow groomed trails. These are perfect for a city park or a local forest preserve.

The aluminum frame keeps it light, while the SoftTec™ decking keeps you atop the snow for easier cruising. Featuring the Boa Closure System, the CustomWrap binding makes it easy to step in, turn the dial, and head out. Carbon steel toe and heel crampons give you good grip on the uphills, downhills and side hills in packed snow conditions.

Sizes Available for this shoe are 25, 30, and 36 inches and weigh from 4 to 5 1/2 pounds. Not sure what size or snowshoe is right for you? Use the Tubbs Snowshoe Finder on their website!

The Tubbs Snowshoes Wayfinder is, to me, the daily driver of snowshoes. You can take it offroad or even bomb down the highway, but it’s really perfect for comfortable cruising all day long.

*This snowshoe was provided to me as a Tubbs Snowshoe Ambassador – all opinions are my own.
