Clif Bar, X Compression, Runner’s Choice

Clif Builder's Bar Chocolate Hazelnut

Check out the brand new CLIF Builder’s Chocolate Hazelnut protein bar from CLIF Bar, available now nationwide (SRP $1.99). 20 grams of protein, real hazelnuts, no trans-fats, 13 vitamins and minerals, no high fructose corn syrup, and…..non-GMO ingredients! (Hopefully organic is in the works.) This is a tasty new addition to the Clif Builder’s line, though I was disappointed that it didn’t taste like a bar of Nutella, but it’s tasty in its own right.

X Compression Socks

Probably the best looking compression socks I’ve seen, the X Compression socks are designed specifically for running by athletes and medical professionals. They combine the benefit of medical compression and performance socks, with a goal to produce the best athletic running compression socks in the world. I’ve worn them running and for recovery, and I have to say they go on much more easily than other compression socks I’ve tried (so soft!), but still have a solid feel of compression. SRP is $55, but the socks are on sale for $43.99 (February 2015).
[Other compression brands to check out: Compressport, Zensah, Salomon, RecoFit, CEP, Opedix and Skins.]

Runner's Choice

The Runner’s Choice (from Trusted Health Products) is formulated with 100% natural botanical oils of almond, eucalyptus, eucalyptol, wintergreen, peppermint and spearmint. It is designed for people that run 3 miles or more at a time or for those that are on their feet all day. Simply rub on your feet, wash hands, and relax (a little bit worrisome: don’t touch eyes or use on open wounds).  Between the good smell and self-massage, a nice product to use. Want to try it? For a limited time, the manufacturer is willing to offer readers one free bottle (you just pay a minimal shipping and handling charge). Click here to get your free bottle now!)

Products received for review purposes – all opinions are my own.
