Father’s Day Gift Guide 2019

There are so many great gifts out there for the dad in your life, don’t limit yourself to the more mundane. Whether he’s an outdoor lover or more likely to sit on the couch and root on his favorite team, creative presents are there for the finding.

Well Told Maps Pocket Flask

If your dad’s a drinker, surprise him with an engraved Maps Pocket Flask from Well Told. The six ounce, stainless-steel flask is available in two map styles: state map and topographic map designs. The rounded edges help the flask slide in and out of pockets. Best of all, it comes in a stylish box with filling funnel for a beautiful gift set – just wrap and you’re good to go.

Toad and Co Summer Clothing

Toad and Co are makers of sustainable, organic and eco friendly clothing, so you can feel good gifting them and your father can feel good wearing them. With the weather warming up, shorts and short sleeve shirts are needed options.

I’ve been wearing the Midfield Hemp Polo (55% Hemp, 45% Organic Cotton) and Epique Pull-On Short (55% Hemp, 45% Organic Cotton) – they are both very heavy cotton, with a rough feel that I love. If you want something lighter, check out the Lounge-Out Short (54% Hemp, 44% Tencel, 2% Spandex), like wearing pajamas with an outdoor style. SO comfortable.

Industrial Revolution Morakniv Floating Serrated Knife

Fisherman or not, any dad would love the Morakniv Floating Serrated Knife from Industrial Revolution, especially if he’s a paddler like me. Any time you’re on the water, a knife is handy, if only to have for emergencies. Cut a line, clean a fish, whittle branches into firestarters, or any other use, a knife is good to have around. The serration makes quick work of any chore. The fact that it floats is awesome; I’ve lost plenty of tools when mishandled and sunk in the depths. No such worries here.

Leatherman Signal collage

I think there is not a dad alive who wouldn’t enjoy the Signal multi-tool from Leatherman. Store it or carry it in the handy provided sheath and use one of the 19 included tools, choosing from pliers, a bottle opener,  safety whistle, and ferro rod. The  box wrench hole can also double as a lanyard ring should you need that option. To make this present slightly more personal, the Signal now comes in 7 colors!

If none of these gifts move you, check out the Outdoors Dad Father’s Day Gift Guide along with the Father’s Day Gift Guide from previous years.
