myCharge AdventureUltra Review

When someone asks me to review something that has adventure and ultra in its name, you can pretty much count me in as interested, at least to start. I’m a big fan of power banks for using out in the field, so one called AdventureUltra is a resounding yes.

While the AdventureUltra is one of myCharge’s largest battery banks, it’s not so big you couldn’t take it pretty much anywhere (unless you’re a weight weenie). Of their battery banks, it also has the highest power output. Recharging is simple via the included charging adapter.

Designed to replace the heavy and bulky generators used camping, the AdventureUltra  has a maximum power output of 45 watts, so it can do a lot, but not everything. For example, it can charge multiple devices at once while also powering a 12-inch MacBook. It can power or charge anything that requires less than 45 watts either when powered off and solely charging or when powered on and charging simultaneously. without scientific basis, I felt that the AdventureUltra charged phones quickly and often without needing to be recharged itself.

myCharge AdventureUltra: This portable charging hub and inverter takes the basic power bank and makes it a whole lot better. Not only does it have the typical USB ports (both A and C), it also features an AC power outlet, so you can plugin a laptop or a blender if you wanted.
