Earth Day is this weekend and while you may be earth-friendly on a daily basis, it’s nice to have a global day to remind everyone that taking care of our planet is not only important, but imperative. Whether it’s donating cash or planting a tree, there are many ways for you to celebrate and support this special day. Here are a few:
Peak Design and Farm to Feet are donating 100% (yes, 100%) of online sales on Earth Day to the Conservation Alliance, in conjunction with that organization’s #WeKeepItWild campaign. Super generous. Check out all the participating organizations on the Alliance website.
This Earth Day you don’t have to get out a shovel and dig a hole or pay to plant a tree. You simply need to share an image on social media and for every share of the “OneToastOneTree” hashtag on April 22nd a tree will be planted by Toast and its partner, Trees for the Future.
Want to get your hands dirty (literally or metaphorically)? Volunteer Match has 330 nationwide opportunities to volunteer across 26 cause areas. Just type “Earth Day” in the search box.
